Engineered Elastomer Products
Continuing the ever present need to satisfy our customers demands has lead BMP to diversify into this highly specialist field of polymer engineering. Over the last 15 years we have invested heavily in qualified engineers and bespoke manufacturing systems which have enabled us to become one of the world's leaders in this niche market.
As with our engineered textile products BMP is fully integrated in the manufacture of these products. BMP buys the raw material from a select group of companies and processes it right through to finished product guaranteeing quality by controlling the process from A to Z.
BMP has developed two manufacturing processes, Casting & Gravity Feed.
Although our initial products were specifically for use in the office automation industry we have developed new areas of opportunity in applications as diverse as Screen Printing, Metal Forming, Paper Feed Systems and Conductive Rollers.
Cast urethane is a unique thermoset elastomeric material that bridges the gap between highly extensible rubber elastomers and low-elongation rigid plastics. Although light in weight, products made from cast urethane materials exhibit a functional toughness which can withstand industrial abuse that would break down most rubbers, plastics and even metals.
BMP is capable of achieving solutions for specialized applications through our extensive knowledge of design, development and processing of synthetic elastomers inclusive of silicone and flouro-carbon rubbers.
